Night riding is one of the most enjoyable experiences I have with my bike. However, the biggest challenge while riding bikes in the night is to get motorists to actually notice YOU. There is a new product in the market which will make sure the motorists see you. The product is a rear LED bike light that you mount to the bottom of your seat. And yes, it looks like a pair of bobbing, glowing testicles. Whether or not people find it offensive or distasteful, One thing is sure – people will notice you and your bike in the night.
Bike Balls is a rear bike light mounted on the back of your bike seat.
They hang off of the seat rail and naturally bob around while you ride.
This ensures maximum visibility in the night so that you are easily noticed by the motorists.
To turn the light on, you need to squeeze them gently.
The LED Light is housed inside a silicone shell to make it rugged and environment proof. This also makes the entire housing glow and increasing the lit visible area from 18 square mm to 1872 square mm.
Apart from the regular solid light mode, the Balls have 2 more party modes with flash on and off in slow and fast patterns.
Created by the pair of industrial designers Heather and Scott, the Bike balls were launched a few months back on Kickstarter and were a huge success surpassing their goal in just 3 days. They are now shipping the balls worldwide and costs just 17$
