Ranveer Singh outshines among an ensemble cast that probably has the best actors Bollywood in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. Be it her sibling bonding with Priyanka Chopra or romantic angle with Anushka Sharma, he is simple adorable and does it with so much ease.
4. Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’
Sushant singh Rajupt delivered the role of a detectve in the early 90’s in Dibakar Banerjee’s Detective Byomkesh Bakshy with perfection. It was not easy to play the same character which Rajat Kapoor made iconic. It was not easy for people to imagine anyone else as Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, but Sushant did it with such perfection, that Detective Byomkesh Bakshi is now India’s answer to Sherlock Holmes.
5. Varun Dhawan in ‘Badlpur’
Varun Dhawan went par his image of a sweet boy and did something unexpectedly brave in the revenge drama directed by Sriram Raghavan. His portrayal of Raghu has by far been his strongest performance and received rave reviews.
