1. Sky-decks at the top of the Willis (Sears) Tower, Chicago
The Willis tower (formerly Sears tower) is Western Hemisphere’s second highest tower located in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is an 108-story 1,451-foot (442 m) skyscraper which the the most common tourist destination in Chicago . The Ledge is a glass balcony suspended 1300 feet in the air. The Ledge glass floor balconies are only 1.5 inch thick but can take 13,000 pounds of weight.

2. Mont Blanc, French Alps
At 12,600 feet in air, there is a cage made completely of Glass. Its called “Step into the Void” and its highest glass cage in the world. I cannot imagine what it must be looking down from there!
3. The Grand Canyon Skywalk
It is a transparent Horseshoe shaped Cantilever bridge near the Colorado river in Arizona. Beneath the skywalk is 700 feet drop and walking this might just turn your feet into jelly
4. Insanity at the Stratosphere Hotel , Las Vegas, USA
This might be scariest of all! Insanity a ride which extends 68 feet over the edge of the 1,149-foot Stratosphere tower, The Ride spins passengers at up to three Gs with top speed reaching up to 45 miles per hour at an thrilling 70 degree angle. All the while, you get to see the beautiful view of the Las Vegas valley.
5. Half Dome Mountain, Yosemite National Park, USA
Tucked into the mountains of California, Yosemite National park is a well known tourist destination in USA. Known for many iconic climbs like the face of Half Dome, El Capitan, its on every rock climber’s list. But we are talking about the famous vantage points of 4700 feet high granite mountains.
6. Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower , Shanghai, China.
Located at the banks of Huangpu River, Oriental Pearl Radio and TV tower stands at 468 meters tall. It has number of observation decks with glass floor which can give you a great view of Shanghai skyline but can be scary too
7. Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, England
This is iconic 170 meter tall tower, situated in Portsmouth, England. There are 3 observation platforms with virtually nothing between you and the waves.
8. Lion’s Head Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa
Lion’s Head is 2200 feet high picture perfect mountain located in Cape town, South Africa. It well known among the hikers for its breathtaking view, especially in moonlight.
9. CN Tower in Toronto
Standing at 553 metre, CN tower is Toronto’s tallest and most defining building. Located in the building is the Glass floor observation deck, which gives you perfect bird’s eye view of Toronto skyline! Calgary tower is a 626 feet (191 meters) tall free standing Observation tower located in Alberta Canada. The Glass floor extension gives a great view of the skyline below
11. Eureka Tower, Melbourne, Australia.
This is southern hemisphere’s highest glass cage viewing platform which gives extraordinary view in the evening/night
12. Alpspix Viewing Platform, Germany
Located, above the top station of the Alpspitzbahn lifts, this offers one of its kind panoramic vantage point. Two steel beams hover out over 13 meters to form a floating X over a vertical drop of almost 1,000 meters which gives a breathtaking view of the nearby alpine cliffs.
13. Trolltunga Cliff, Norway
Trolltunga is the most beautiful and scenic cliff in Norway situated about 1100 meters above sea level. The name translates into english as Troll’s tongue. The cliff hovers over lake Ringedalsvatnet and gives a breathtaking view from the edge.
